Parents,
I will miss three days of school in September to attend the Georgia Thespian Conference. I am the current State Director of this high school theater organization (I have taught drama in the past and have been involved with Georgia Thespians for over 15 years)and I am responsible for the organization and running of our state conference. We are expecting 2000 attendees this year!
While I am out, students will read three stories that we will discuss later. This isn't "busy work," but is what we would be doing anyway. Please encourage your child to be present and serious about the work on those days.
I am trying to keep I-Parent current and ask that you understand during that time (February 7-11) that I will be a little behind but will catch up as soon as I can.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
